For 26 years, the Mexican Charreria has spread contagiously to those who reside in Colorado. In the recent edition of the Mexican Rodeo Extravaganza, thousands of people applauded for Charro de Corazón, Jerry Díaz, his wife Stacy, and their son Nicolás for their amazing performance at the Denver Coliseum arena. In conjunction with the Díaz family, members of the Charros Las Delicias Association and other groups of Colorado Charros showed their skills in the art of charrería.

Women played prominent roles in the show this time around. The beautiful members of the Escaramuza Charra Flor de Aguileña had an outstanding performance. In a special presentation, the girls of the Adelitas Colorado group also had a dazzling performance with a routine involving stick horses. The talented singer Valeria Carlos showed the full splendor of her voice through Mexican folk songs. Lastly, Dozens of dancers embodied Mexican culture through dance rhythms.

Mexican Bullfighters

No doubt the 26th iteration of the show was meticulous. One such example was the choice of the music to set the mood for the show, the Mariachi Sol de Mi Tierra. This group had an impeccable performance, performing more than forty songs in the two hours of the show. The narration of the event, done by veteran Luis Canela, was one of the highlights of the show. At the end of the show, Mexican bullfighters Paulo Campero and Daniel Valdez concluded the event powerfully.
