CELEBRATE HER SWEARING-IN AT THE LEADERSHIP RECEPTION 2025

The Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) celebrated the Leadership Reception 2025 to welcome Tish Maes as the new Chair of the Board of Directors. The event, organized by CEO Mike Ferrufino and his executive team, brought together over a hundred business leaders, public officials, and community members. Among the attendees was Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, who congratulated Maes and recognized the importance of CHCC’s work in strengthening the local economy.

With an outstanding track record in the financial sector and community development, Maes takes the helm of the board with a clear vision for growth and institutional strengthening. During her remarks, she emphasized her commitment to “promoting inclusion initiatives, supporting Hispanic entrepreneurship, and strengthening strategic partnerships that open new opportunities for our community’s businesses.” The new Chair brings a combination of corporate leadership experience and nonprofit sector involvement.

A Stage of Strengthening
Her strategic approach and passion for economic empowerment position her as an ideal leader to guide the CHCC through this stage of strengthening. Ferrufino highlighted that “Tish’s arrival represents a renewal of energy and commitment to our mission of promoting the economic success of Hispanics in Colorado.” The CHCC is celebrating more than four decades of service.
