Aurora City Council Member Danielle Jurinsky has expressed her enthusiasm about Donald Trump’s upcoming visit to the city, stating, “I think it’s wonderful that a presidential candidate is taking an interest in Aurora. The truth about the Tren de Aragua, I believe, needs to continue to be told.” Jurinsky, known for her firm stance on security and immigration issues, has backed Trump’s claims regarding the need for federal intervention to address gang-related issues in Aurora.

Since a video of armed men at an Aurora apartment complex went viral, Jurinsky has alleged that the Tren de Aragua has taken control of certain areas of the city. In her role as Chair of the Aurora Public Safety Committee, she has advanced this narrative along with John Fabbricatore, the Republican congressional candidate for District 6, who also claims that Colorado acts as a “sanctuary state” that facilitates the presence of foreign gangs.

On Stage with Trump

A source involved in the preparation for Trump’s rally has confirmed that Jurinsky, who has positioned herself as the “loudest voice” on this issue, will be the one to introduce Trump at the Gaylord Resort. For her, Trump’s visit is an opportunity to highlight the urgency of addressing the security issues that, according to her, are affecting Aurora. Jurinsky’s presence is confirmed; however, it is not yet known whether Aurora’s mayor, Republican Mike Coffman, will attend Trump’s rally.
