The OmniSalud program, managed by Colorado Connect, successfully concluded the re-enrollment phase for eligible clients who had health insurance in 2024 and decided to renew it for 2025. This program, supported by the state initiative Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise, aims to ensure that more Colorado residents can access affordable health insurance with zero-cost premiums.

During the re-enrollment phase, which ended on November 22 at 11:59 p.m., about 8,200 eligible clients secured a limited financial benefit known as SilverEnhanced Savings, which facilitates access to more affordable health plans. This benefit is funded through state resources, and it is estimated that up to 12,000 qualified individuals will be able to receive this financial aid in 2025.

New Slots Available

Starting Monday, November 25, at 8:00 a.m., the program reopened for new participants. It is estimated that funding is available for the remaining 3,800 slots. This figure includes both new participants and those returning, who will be able to secure this financial aid by completing their enrollment. These quality health plans with zero-dollar premiums make it easier for vulnerable communities in Colorado to access medical coverage.

What is OmniSalud?

OmniSalud is a program designed to offer affordable health insurance to people who, for various reasons, do not qualify for subsidies through other traditional health programs. With support from the Health Insurance Affordability Enterprise, this program ensures that all residents, regardless of their immigration or economic status, can access essential health services. The registration closed once the program reaches 12,000 clients.
