The Denver Museum of Natural Sciences invites you to join them in their new exhibition: “Egypt: The Time of Pharaohs,” which runs from February 25, 2022, until September 5 2022.
This exhibition will transport you to the distant past to Egypt so you can explore their ancient culture and learn about the land of the pharaohs.
You will see their everyday life through hundreds of artifacts, artwork and engaging interactive pieces in order to better understand how the ancient Egyptian people flourished alongside the banks of the Nile and the impact they had on our modern culture.
Through multimedia videos, you will be able to explore their landscape and climate and how they prospered in the Nile Valley. Through religious relics and artifacts, you will learn about their religion and their development of written word through their invention of hieroglyphic writing and record keeping.
Travel through time and examine their Pharaohs and the power and responsibilities they carried and how their power structure prospered. Examine makeup vessels, jewelry and fine textiles to get a sense for how much ancient Egyptians valued and appreciated beauty and how this represented societal status.
Don’t miss this exciting exhibit which will require a separate ticket apart from the general Museum admission.
