The organizers of Latin Fashion Week Colorado (LFWC) announce that all preparations are ready for the third edition of this event that showcases the talent of Hispanic creators in the world of fashion. “The two fashion shows will be held at the Denver County Court. We could not get a better environment to enjoy the extraordinary work of the international and local designers we have invited”, said Norberto Mojardín, founder of the LFWC.
Mojardín announced that 10 international designers will be participating in this edition. Those who attend the shows in downtown Denver will be able to see creations by renowned designers Miguel Chong, from Honduras, and Isabella Springmuhl, from Guatemala. Mexican designers Cesar Morfin and Avelino Osorio and Puerto Ricans Jaer Caban and Jose Karlo will also be present. The Peruvian Virginia Barreda Ramírez returns to Colorado to show her fashion pieces.
“Local designers also have a place in our event. We have extraordinary talent in Colorado and our purpose is to present a high-rise catwalk in which their work stands out,” emphasized Mojardín. About 10 local designers are going to showcase their creations. Among this group of designers are Mona Lucero, Alejandro Moreno, Nelly Bernal, Anabel Márquez and Jael Rosales. Also joining the show will be local talent Duane Toppings, Charlie Price and Scott Lobben.
Outdoor fashion shows
The two fashion shows, the opening night and the closing night, will take place outdoors. “We have taken all measures so that the attending public can enjoy an event in an environment that protects their health and safety,” explained Mojardín. The organizer of the event explained that only four people will be able to concentrate at each table and it will be mandatory to practice social distance of 6 feet from table to table. You can attend without masks.
Mojardín announced that during the two fashion shows his “alebrijes” collection will adorn the Denver County Court. “These two nights you will also be able to enjoy the cultural diversity. We are going to present the colors, textures, flavors, and sounds of the Hispanic culture,” said Mojardín. Those attending to the fashion shows will have access to food and drinks.
