The second edition of the Adelante Latina Convention, an emblematic event dedicated to empowering Latina women and entrepreneurs in the United States workplace, is set to take place. With a focus on professional development and economic growth, this annual event stands out as a vital space for the Hispanic community in Colorado, led by the prestigious organization Adelante Community Development (ACD).

The Adelante Latina Convention will feature a distinguished panel of women, highlighting their valuable contributions in different areas of professional and personal performance. “These extraordinary women represent an inspiring example for future generations. Their participation is a testimony to the power and unlimited potential of women in the United States and around the world,” said María González, executive director of ACD.

Leaders in mental health

Silvia Morales Chainé, from the Faculty of Psychology at UNAM, is one of the outstanding women coming to Colorado. As an expert in mental health, Morales Chainé has dedicated her career to understanding and addressing challenges related to depression and other psychological disorders in Mexican youth. Her work is crucial at a time when mental health has become a global concern, especially among young people.


Another prominent figure on the panel is Elia Paulina González, a licensed Clinical Psychologist with a master’s degree in Addiction Treatment. This young professional is considered a beacon of change and empowerment. Her passion for her professional discipline has made her a social entrepreneur dedicated to creating violence-free spaces for companies in Mexico, Central, and South America.

Leaders in binational public policies

Gudelia Rangel Gómez is a prominent expert in epidemiology and public health. She served as the executive secretary of the Mexico-US Border Health Commission, leading to the construction of collaboration policies with a significant impact on the migrant population of Mexican and Hispanic origin. One of these policies was the creation of mobile health units. She is a highly skilled and knowledgeable professional.

Also, a high-level professional is Hilda Dávila Chávez. She was the director general of International Relations at the Mexican Ministry of Health and a delegate of the Mexico-US Border Health Commission. Dávila Chávez advanced the Health Windows program for Mexican consulates in the United States. This expert has also focused on the impact of migration on individual and community health.

Leader in science and technology

Finally, the renowned scientist, entrepreneur, and communicator of scientific topics Déborah Berebichez will attend the event. This Mexican is a pioneer in the field of quantum computing and artificial intelligence. Berebichez has inspired countless women to pursue their dreams in the educational field. She is a champion of STEM education and challenging the limits of knowledge.
