The third edition of Suave Fest will take place next Saturday, September 30 in Denver, Colorado. This promises to be an event full of flavor, culture, and very good beer. This festival, which will take place on the grounds of Raices Brewing, is much more than just a beer celebration. It is a tribute to Latin American and Caribbean culture, highlighting beer producers of Hispanic origin in the United States.

Each ticket to the Suave Fest includes a glass that allows attendees to taste the creations of the 18 breweries present. In total, each attendee will be able to taste about 50 styles of beer. Additionally, there will be six hours of live music, a variety of Latin American and Caribbean food options, as well as crafts, art, and dance to enjoy. This festival offers a complete experience that goes beyond beer.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of “de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum” (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, “Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..”, comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
