Stephanie Rodríguez, renowned journalist and former Telemundo Colorado news anchor, has entered a new professional phase. Rodríguez has begun her role as Director of Community Affairs at Dan Caplis Law, a personal injury firm with a strong presence in Colorado. With this transition, Rodríguez expands her community commitment beyond journalism.

Originally from California and a graduate of Arizona State University (ASU) in Phoenix, Rodríguez moved to Colorado in 2020 to join Telemundo’s news team. Her reporting on community-centered stories quickly made her a respected figure. In 2023, she was promoted to lead anchor, solidifying her role as a trusted source of news for Colorado’s Spanish-speaking audience.

Staying connected to the Spanish-speaking community

Her coverage earned her an Emmy Award, recognizing her journalistic excellence. At Dan Caplis Law, Rodríguez will lead Spanish-language community outreach efforts. Her responsibilities include running informative campaigns in Hispanic media, providing interpretation services, and guiding clients through bilingual legal processes.

She will also spearhead initiatives to ensure Latino families have access to legal resources without language or cultural barriers. “Joining Dan Caplis Law allows me to continue serving the community—this time from a different platform,” said Rodríguez. “As a journalist, my role was to inform. Now, my mission is to support people through difficult moments and help them find real solutions and legal representation they can trust.”

Bringing experience

Dan Caplis, founder of the firm, expressed his confidence in the new addition: “Stephanie brings a strong track record of community service and a genuine connection with those who need it most. We are excited to have her join our team and enhance our ability to reach Colorado’s Latino community with clear information, direct support, and effective representation.”

Rodríguez’s arrival aligns with the firm’s goal to expand its communication with Hispanic families across Colorado, ensuring they receive accessible and culturally competent legal guidance. Her background in media, combined with academic training and cultural insight, makes her a key player in this outreach effort.

“Taking on this new professional challenge, I want to reaffirm my commitment to being close to the community—now from a different space, but with the same spirit of service. I am here for the beloved people of Colorado,” Rodríguez concluded.
