Soccer is filled with inspiring stories of perseverance, and brothers Eduardo and Diego Macías, originally from Vail with parents from Chihuahua, are a clear example of that. These talented young individuals have fought incredibly hard to achieve their dream of becoming professional soccer players, and their determination and dedication led them to be part of the Real Colorado Soccer Club’s U-17 team that played in the final of the category in the MLS Next tournament.

From a young age, Eduardo and Diego started taking their first steps in soccer. At just four years old, they already showed an overflowing passion for the beautiful game. Accompanied and always supported by their family, especially their parents, who took them from Vail to South Denver for their training sessions, the Macías brothers quickly stood out for their talent and skills on the field.

Grateful to their parents

The journey hasn’t been easy for them. They have faced numerous challenges and sacrifices throughout their trajectory, but they have always had the unconditional support of their family. The Macías brothers are aware that soccer is more than just a game for them; it is a passion that drives them forward and helps them overcome any obstacle that comes their way.

In their interview, Eduardo and Diego expressed their gratitude to their parents, who have been their biggest support and have made it possible for them to pursue their dreams. They recognize the effort and sacrifice their family has made for them to be where they are today, and they feel proud to represent Colorado in the MLS tournament, being the first team from the Real Colorado Soccer Club to reach the finals.

A midfielder and a left winger

The Macías brothers play different positions on the field. Eduardo plays as a left winger, while Diego plays as a central midfielder. Despite their different roles, they complement each other perfectly, forming a united team both on the field and in everyday life. They also share the same passion for soccer and have common favorite teams.

They closely follow Cruz Azul, a team with a great tradition in Mexican soccer, thanks to their father’s influence. They admire outstanding international players, such as the talented Barcelona footballers. Soccer means everything to the Macías brothers. It is their life, their dream, and their passion. As they advance in their careers, they are determined to continue playing at a professional level and reach the highest possible level in the world of soccer.

Thinking about the future

Their goal is to become recognized players and leave a mark in this sport they love so much. On the eve of the U-17 category final of the MLS, the Macías brothers are preparing intensely, taking care of their nutrition, stretching, and staying focused on the goal of winning the championship. They know the road won’t be easy, but they trust in their talent, teamwork, and mutual support to face the challenge.

Eduardo and Diego Macías are the future of soccer in the United States and the world. Their story inspires many to keep fighting for their goals and to never give up on their dreams. We will closely follow their career and wish them all the success in the final and their future challenges. The Macías brothers are a true example of passion, dedication, and determination in the pursuit of soccer greatness.
