Queremos compartirles algunos consejos para el cuidado y mantenimiento de árboles durante el invierno. Puede crear un anillo de mantillo (composta) alrededor del árbol. Este anillo puede retener la humedad para alimentar las raíces de los árboles en crecimiento. Además, el mantillo modera la temperatura del suelo, lo que contribuye al crecimiento vigoroso de las raíces

No retire las ramas rotas o muertas. Para evitar daños al tronco, puede cubrirlo con una envoltura. Al mismo tiempo debe controlar su árbol para detectar signos de enfermedades o plagas. En invierno, sólo conviene regar el árbol dos veces al mes, cuando el suelo no esté congelado y la temperatura sea de unos 40 grados.
