The 2023 Annual Convention of the National Association of Hispanic Publications (NAHP) is set to kick off at the Hilton Phoenix at The Peak on October 25th. The convention promises an engaging and dynamic three-day event for NAHP members, featuring educational forums, networking opportunities, and the celebration of the prestigious Jose Marti Awards.

This year’s convention is not only expected to draw the usual mix of industry, business, and government leaders from the United States and Mexico but also boasts a special guest Claudia Sheinbaum andXóchitl Gálvez. Both Mexican presidential candidateswill participate in the NAHP convention remotely on Thursday, the 26th.Their presence offers NAHP members and guests a unique opportunity to hear from this prominent figure directly.

The convention celebrates the vibrancy and innovation of Hispanic publications in the United States, highlighting their role in delivering crucial information to Hispanic communities across the nation, including those with family ties to Mexico and other Latin-American countries. Álvaro Gurdián, President of NAHP, emphasizes the vital role of Hispanic-owned media serving culturally Hispanic readers, underscoring the growth, diversification, and adaptability of the industry in the ever-changing media landscape.
