The Colorado Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (CHCC) is going to present its 14th edition of “Sabor”. This event will take place the first Friday of August at the Denver Botanic Gardens. Sabor represents a great gastronomic and cultural festival that celebrates Hispanic heritage. “Everyone who attends ‘Sabor’ lives the sensory experience of coming into contact with Hispanic culture,” said Mike Ferrufino, executive president of the CHCC.

The event will taste the dishes of thirty-five restaurants with a Hispanic American menu. “‘Sabor’ provides financing and leadership development opportunities for restaurant owners and other small businesses,” adds Ferrufino. At the same time, attendees will enjoy tequilas, mezcal, wines and whiskeys. The entire variety of beers from Blue Moon, the main sponsor of “Sabor”, will also be available.

Delicious food and refreshing drinks will be enjoyed along with very nice live music. The organizers of “Sabor” announced that in this edition of the event more than fifty musicians will perform, performing Hispanic American rhythms. You will listen to mariachi, tango, vallenato, cumbias, and flamenco music. It will also present an ensemble of Venezuelan musicians.

Business networking

Taste attendees will also be able to network and learn about businesses and organizations that contribute to Colorado’s rich, vibrant, and diverse community. Among the two thousand five hundred attendees expected to “Sabor” are local Hispanic businessmen, residents, and community leaders. “One of the purposes of ‘Sabor’ is to promote local Hispanic businesses that support our vibrant economy,” concluded Ferrufino.
