The Colorado Hispanic Bar Association (CHBA) presented an evening of elegance with its annual “En el Jardín” gala this past Saturday, August 12, 2023 in the majestic setting of the Denver Botanic Garden. The event not only captivated with its natural charm, but also made the purpose of the CHBA clear.
Amber González, CHBA President, and Mercedes Pineda, the organization’s President-elect, welcomed attendees with heartfelt thanks for supporting CHBA. The night shone with cocktails, an exquisite dinner, and contagious music.

There was also a silent auction packed with works by Julio Mendoza. Beyond the celebration, the gala had a larger purpose: the CHBA’s commitment to advancing the Hispanic community in Colorado. The association strives to expand the number of Latinos in the legal profession through professional development, education, and leadership opportunities.

President González speaks
“With a bold vision, CHBA leads and is actively involved in a number of civic and advocacy efforts that benefit the Hispanic community as a whole. This gala not only brings together individuals who are passionate about law and justice, but also became a beacon of hope and positive change,” concluded González.
