Supporting mobile home communities
You are invited to a press conference to support mobile homeowners, legislators, and advocates to pass House Bills 1196 and 1201. The event will take place in the first floor of the Capitol in the West Foyer. More than 100,000 people live in more than 800 manufactured home parks across Colorado. The Mobile Home Park Act (MHPA) has been in the books since 1973. The MHPA outlines the rights and responsibilities of homeowners and park owners in Mobile Home Parks, also known as Manufactured Housing Communities. HB 20-1196 & HB 20-1201 both attempts to preserve mobile home communities and support the largest form of un-subsidized housing in Colorado.
