After a decade of experience in the DPS, Salvador Carrera is ready for a new vocation. Carrera, an outstanding professional, has accepted an executive position at the KLVX television station on channel 10 in Nevada. The station, in the format of PBS channels, is associated with the Clark County school district.
Carrera carries with him valuable expertise to aid him in his new career. He has recently served as director of DPSTv, a television channel that trains students of DPS, the largest school district in Colorado. In addition, Carrera has led the DPS’ media platforms.
DPS media, identified by the name EDUCA, contains a radio program, a TV show, and a newspaper. Carrera had an outstanding career in DPS through which he was able to take on a greater amount of responsibilities. The California native was also in charge of the DPS’ Department of Multicultural Outreach and Language Services.
Parting Words “My greatest satisfaction is having received the thanks of hundreds of parents of DPS students. This makes me feel that we have succeeded in our mission. Our job was to help them navigate the education system successfully,” said Carrera. “I’m going to miss everything I’m leaving here, particularly my work team,” concluded Carrera
