Norberto Mojardín, President and Founder of Viva Colorado Non-Profit, a renowned international artist and local community leader, has the honor of inviting the community to celebrate the Day of the Dead Parade and Festival. These two events, bearing Mojardín’s distinctive mark, pay tribute to the rich tradition of the Day of the Dead.

The parade on Friday, November 3, will feature creative floats, music bands, folkloric ballets, fire trucks, Catrinas, characters from Coco, lowriders, and a wide variety of colorful costumes. Meanwhile, at the festival on Saturday, November 4, at Civic Center Park, attendees can enjoy food stalls, a Catrinas contest, carnival games, and performances by Banda Los Mazatlecos and Sonora Dinamita.

Gigantic Altar

A gigantic altar will be installed in the Greek amphitheater dedicated to honoring those who lost their lives during the pandemic. It has been Mojardín’s custom to construct monumental altars in Denver for two decades. This artist also invites the community to bring photographs of their loved ones to place on the altar.
