DoorDash will provide a $20,000 grant to Local Restaurants in the Greater Denver area. This Accelerator for Local Restaurants will help small businesses owned by women, immigrants, and people of color. “We know that when we invest in women entrepreneurs, immigrant entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs of color, these business owners will build vibrant and sustainable businesses that will power our local economies and communities,” said Tasia Hawkins, Social Impact Program Lead, DoorDash.

The Accelerator for Local Restaurants is designed to help stabilize, adapt, and grow greater Denver area restaurants by providing a $20,000 grant and an 8-week intensive curriculum that features local experts, one-on-one business advising, and the opportunity to connect with other local restaurant owners. The curriculum covers topics such as marketing, access to capital, managing cash flow and menu creation, and more.

“We are committed to educating, elevating, and strengthening the Hispanic culinary community through this restaurant-focused educational program. Through our partnership with DoorDash, we’re eager to provide members of our community a pathway to the resources and skills that will help their businesses thrive,” said Selene Nestor and John Jaramillo, of the Hispanic Restaurant Association.
