NEW AIR CONNECTIVITY BETWEEN DENVER AND MEXICO

By Press Consulate of Mexico in Denver

The Consulate General of Mexico in Denver is pleased to announce a significant development in the expansion of air connectivity between Denver and Mexico. Starting January 25, the Mexican low-cost airline, Viva Aerobus, will begin direct flights from Denver to Monterrey. This achievement marks a notable total of 8 Mexican destinations directly connected from Denver.

The inauguration of this new route is a significant step in strengthening the ties between the United States and Mexico. The opening of this route provides our community with a new and affordable connectivity option to Mexico through Monterrey, a city that serves as one of Mexico’s major economic and industrial hubs. From Monterrey, passengers can connect to over 20 destinations across our country.

Two Weekly Flights

In its initial stages, the route will be inaugurated with two weekly flights, scheduled for Thursdays and Sundays. This frequency offers flexibility to travelers, facilitating the planning of their itineraries. The opening of this route not only serves as a gateway for our community to Mexico but also acts as a catalyst to promote trade, investment, tourism, cooperation, and cultural exchanges in both directions.

Monterrey, the second-largest city in our country, provides additional opportunities for connections to various regions of Mexico. We are confident that this direct flight will contribute to the expansion, deepening, and strengthening of relations between our countries and, above all, our people.
