Lights extravaganza

This annual holiday lights extravaganza transforms Denver Botanic Gardens into a twinkling winter wonderland. With fresh and exciting new features, along with some fan favorites, this year’s display is brighter and more expansive than ever before. Vising the gardens for this family-friendly event that has become a holiday tradition for thousands of Front Range families.

Ice skating

Denver International Airport (DIA) invites passengers and community members to join in on the winter fun this season. DIA’s ice-skating rink attendees can pick up free skate rentals, available in many sizes. On Friday afternoons, enjoy hot chocolate, hot cider, winter activities and entertainment. The ice rink is located pre-security on the DIA Plaza, between the terminal and the Westin. It is open to the public and is accessible just steps from RTD’s A-Line commuter rail station.

“Adelante Community Development” will be celebrating its 5th annual “Dia de Reyes” toy giveaway in partnership with Our Lady Mother of the Church.  In the spirit of gratitude, this organization is asking for a financial contribution to purchase five hundred (500) toys to Commerce City children in need.
