The Comcast RISE grant program expands to benefit 100 small businesses in Colorado Springs, Pueblo, and across southern Colorado, strengthening the regional economy.

Comcast RISE, now in its fourth year of operation, continues its commitment to support and strengthen small businesses. This time, the focus is on the thriving community of Pueblo, Colorado Springs, and all southern Colorado where approximately 100 small business owners will have the opportunity to receive comprehensive support to propel their businesses to success.

The program offers a grant package that goes beyond financial assistance. In addition to a $5,000 grant, recipients will have access to marketing and technology resources, business coaching sessions, creative production, and technological renovations. These resources are designed to equip small businesses with the necessary tools to thrive in an increasingly competitive business environment.

Since its launch in November 2020, Comcast RISE has evolved from a pandemic relief program to a comprehensive platform for business growth. Through counseling, educational, and technological resources, as well as monetary grants, the program has become a catalyst for the long-term success of small businesses.

By investing in our local entrepreneurs, we are not only fostering economic growth, but also supporting the heartbeat of our city,” said Colorado Springs Mayor Yemi Mobolade, who is also an entrepreneur.

For Noah Cummerford, CEO of the Pueblo Latino Chamber of Commerce, the program represents much more than just a collaboration. “It is an invaluable opportunity to support and strengthen small business owners in Pueblo and, by extension, throughout the southern Colorado region. The partnership with Comcast demonstrates a genuine commitment to local economic growth and the promotion of equity, diversity, and inclusion.”
